As Habitat for Humanity of Summit and Wasatch Counties celebrates our 30th year of building hope and homes for local working families, we’re also marking another important milestone: 15 years of partnering with Live PC Give PC, an annual, 24-hour day of giving organized by the Park City Community Foundation.
What is Live PC Give PC?
This Utah giving day, which we’ve participated in each year since its inception, encourages the local community to come together in support of a variety of important local causes. In 2024, this one powerful day raised over $5.1 million thanks to more than 7,000 generous donors.
All funds raised for Habitat during this event go toward our current build projects and directly help provide affordable housing to people who work in our community. Addressing the housing affordability crisis in Summit and Wasatch counties benefits us all, as stable housing supports not only the families who live in it but also strengthens the community as a whole.
Participate in This Utah Giving Day
Live PC Give PC 2025 takes place on November 7th. To commemorate our 30th year, we’ve set a goal this year to reach $30,000 to support our work in building affordable housing in the Wasatch Back. We recently broke ground on our second set of 10-unit townhomes in Silver Creek Village in Park City. Soon, we’ll be accepting applications from four local working families for our Homeownership Program, which will enable them to earn their house keys.
To qualify for this program, future homeowners must work in Summit County and be willing to contribute “sweat equity” by partnering with Habitat to build their own home and others’ homes. Through our financial education courses, we’ll supply them with the skills they need to afford a mortgage on an ongoing basis.
We hope you’ll consider making an online donation to Habitat during this Utah Giving Day. Donations for Habitat can be made before or during the official giving day.
Habitat is also hosting a celebration during Live PC Give PC 2025 at O'SHUCKS White House, located at 628 Park Ave in Park City. RSVP for this complimentary event, taking place from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on the day of giving, to help us celebrate Live PC Give PC and the power of community. You’ll get to learn more about Habitat’s work and connect with fellow local supporters.
