What Is the Foundation Builders Program?

Our monthly giving program is designed to provide people with an easier way to make consistent donations to support local working families. Even a small monthly donation makes a huge impact. The donation occurs automatically each month, so you don’t need to track or remember anything to transform lives.

You determine how much you give and how often. If monthly giving isn’t right for you, you can choose to give quarterly or annually, and set the total number of donations so the total amount fits your budget.

Give in honor of someone you love or in memory of someone who cared about helping people find a decent place to live.

How Monthly Giving to Habitat Creates Impact

Affordable housing is not a one-time problem, and solving it requires ongoing solutions. By giving monthly, you allow Habitat to make long-term plans for how we serve families. From determining construction schedules and managing material costs to accepting local families in need into our homeownership program, monthly giving enables sustainable impact.

A monthly gift of $25 becomes $300 over a year. At $100 a month, you’re contributing $1,200 toward a family’s path to a stable home. Your contributions join a pool of recurring funding and help us provide homes for families in our community.

For families in need, this gift goes beyond finding a place to live. It contributes to a family’s long-term health and financial security by reducing the time and money they spend on moving and worrying about housing instability. Habitat families receive financial education as part of our homeownership program, and the budgeting skills they learn help them set aside more money for food, medicine, child care, educational expenses, and other critical needs.

Tax Benefits of Monthly Charitable Giving

Monthly gifts to Habitat for Humanity of Summit & Wasatch Counties are tax-deductible. Habitat is a nonprofit organization recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)(3). Our federal tax identification number is 87-0539094.
