ABILITY TO PAY

Habitat offers home buyers the opportunity to pay an affordable mortgage. Those payments are then cycled back into the community to help build more affordable homes. Habitat is about giving a hand up, not hand out.

HABITAT HOME BUYERS HAVE

1. Stable, monthly income.  (In addition to Habitat's stable income requirement, full-time employment within Summit County is required by the Summit County government for our current Silver Creek Village builds.)

2. Income between 30% - 80% of the Summit County Area Median Income for their household size. The chart below offers the latest numbers for the segment of the community we serve.

3. Acceptable credit. Our video below explains what acceptable credit is, how to find out if you have it and how to begin getting it, if you need to.
